Poem: The Bible to me (Erainasays)

images-8The bible to me is not just words on a paper ,not just words to express on a letter

Its not just visions expressed by some, or another perspective or opinion

These words on a paper i can read with vigour, but it will never determine the transformation it gives to the sinner

The sword that is imbedded into the heart, that pieces a million layers to give me a new start.

Which brings about beauty that I never could impart, but its not me or simply words, but Jesus in the art

Jesus in the art? of making me new?, a sinner like me thought i knew

Until the words pieced me, given by the Holy Spirit to set us free

Jesus is the word, the Holy Spirit makes Him known, taking Jesus from the paper and giving Him a home

Not on shelves or for some on the floor, but in our hearts, no longer to groan

For Jesus died to bring us back from the fall in eden, to dismiss His word is to carry that burden

To continue like Adam and Eve is to be blind from the goal, in order to make us whole

To bring us to heaven with a clean heart, to continue were we left from the start.
