Ok, so this week end just gone saw the marking of a well executed art exhibition directed by Daniel Blyden. I have to say it was verywell done, and was pleasure to be part of the process that made it a success. What I enjoyed most, (and for those who know me personally, there will be no surprise here), it was the frequent exchanges of ‘self’, of ‘opinions’, and of the ‘Values’ of people from all walks of life, each sparking an opportunity to connect, engage and reason with them about morality.
Daniel, thanks for doing this. Also that’s another point, I actually feel much closer to the friends who took part. What a great team. Special to thanks to all the artists, to all the supporters and of course to God who actually pulled it all together. It feels to me like a Christian visual artist network has now been much better established, and it would therefore hurt me not see more develop from this in the future. I understand the project is not yet fully complete: we are holding a meet-the-artist event to followup at the Windsor street SDA church, in Birmingham on the afternoon of 12th July. It would be great if you can make it (especially if you did not attend the art exhibition as you will get to see some of what you missed).
Here is a short clip of Me and Anson creating a completely new song to add some live background music flavour to the exhibition. Thanks Chari for recording us.
