Discovering Truth

with Keiran & Eraina Mckenzie

Chunk 01.

A short video on how God has loved graciously despite we have taken a chunk out Him:..

Contrary to what many believe, God’s loving grace can visibly be seen throughout the scriptures (including the Old Testament). If there is ever a place where people are most likely to expect to NOT find the grace of God, it could be the Commandments. However, the verses 1 & 2 of the commandments are complete GRACE!

‘I am the LORD thy God which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage’ – Exodus 20:1-2

Now a little on “Grace”.

So its by God’s grace that we’re saved. Ephesians 2:8-9 makes it plain,
‘For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.’

But what does that actually mean though? What is “Grace”?

Grace, is simply kindness from God that we don’t deserve. I like this Acronym:

God’s
Riches
At
Christ’s
Expense

Me, Eraina and Ayden Mckenzie made this video. It is the first of a series I plan to publish across these 50 days. Each video focuses on a different aspect of God’s grace. Today’s aspect is that God CHOSE to bring us into existence.

That choice; That thought to bring you, into existence – is just massive!
When you weigh up all the sin, all the pains, and all the griefs, this choice becomes huge. Before you were even born, His love for you was so deep, that right THERE in the beginning, He made that choice to suffer and die for you – before you existed!
We parents experience a similar thing; counting the costs of bringing an unborn child into the home.

“For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God. Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart.” 1 Peter 1:18-22

Revelation 13:8 says Jesus was ‘…the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.’

“Be happy reading more of His word!”

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:18
