Discovering Truth

Real Worship

I often cringe when I hear the word ” worship” used incorrectly. Many people think that ‘worship’ is the action of bowing to a ‘god’ or singing religious songs, but in fact worship is way more than that.

Worship actually means: “To treat with absolute adoration and service”.

These guys on the front cover are worshiping! They love their football so much, that their whole life involves it.

What do you treat with absolute adoration Or where do you invest your time?

Worship: The product of knowing that God loves you.”

Now what about Christians: why do they worship?

Christian worship is not necessarily dancing and shouting; as some believe…

True Christian’s worship because they’ve discovered something that most of the world have not yet discovered.

[THAT GOD IS INCREDIBLY KIND.]

True christians have discovered that not only is there a God, but that, this God-is INCREDIBLY KIND.

Jeremiah 29:13

And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

We Christians obey God as a “thank you” to our loving creator.

Have you discovered the love of God? True worship cannot be reserved for special occasions; but when the kindness of God is revealed, you can’t help but worship God in private as well as in public.

This is why I wrote this for you.
